I've had this image in my head for a little while now...
So, finally got it out. :-)
So happy to have my computer back and have a creative outlet for stress relief.
My version of cheap therapy, lol.
The text reads "My sisters have taught me how to live."
So true...
Right now it's a digital collage, but I hope to one day turn it into a 3D collage on paper.
We'll see how that turns out...I'll post it if it works out! :-)

It certainly does fit Leila and hurray for Odd Birds if they car soar into the sky like that. Lovely piece and so glad to see you back.

ReplyDeleteTo "prep" my canvases First I drew on my image then I glued on various papers around the image, (scrapbook papers and tissue papers) then I used crackle paint over some of the papers and finally a layer of paint once the crackle has dried.
I like to do a few at a time, then they are ready for painting in the image the next day :)
