Odd Bods - 1st Journal Page

This weeks theme over at Sunday Postcard Art is "Odd Bod."

Can you tell what I used for the base of the bod?  hehe.

So, for this challenge, I decided to do another 180 (have I done a full circle yet???  haha) and tried my hand at Art Journaling.  I am now officially completely out of my box and in unfamiliar territory...but, I wanted to step outside of my digital art world and see what else is out there.

So this is technically my 1st page.  :-)
So far I'm pleased with how it turned out...although I'm not done.  The page on the right I have a design in my head and then will leave most of it open so I can actually WRITE my journal page.
I wanted to post the pic though, at least that side is done!
Phew!

I do have a goal to fill up this journal, but I'm being nice to myself and saying I'd like to have it completed by Christmas...of next year.  2011!  So we'll just have to wait and see if I can reach that goal.

I didn't really modify any sources like I do in my digital art.
The head...well, that's me!
The rest would be stamps, distress ink, poster ink sharpie, colored pencil,  paper, glue....hmm, and I think that's it.

I'm kinda pokin fun at myself cus I feel like a puppet right now.  I'm so scatter brained and all over the place...at this point, just having others tell me what I should be doing as I work full time, take care of family full time, try to satisfy my parents with visiting and letting them see their grandchild, cooking, cleaning, paying attention to the fiance....and planning my October wedding!
EEEK, I'm running out of time.
At least I finally got the flowers all picked out today - and boy was I brain dead after that meeting...so many questions!

...it's all slowly falling in to place tho.  I did wake up in the middle of the night last week and said "D'OH."  I completely forgot about the actual marriage license.  DUHHHH!!! So to calm my middle of the night freak out, I got up, raced to the computer, got on to the county website and quickly searched for marriage licenses and how long it will take to process....and realized, oh, it will only take 30 minutes.  Double Phew!  Plenty of time for that...now I just need to coordinate my fiance and my schedule so we can have a couple hours to get our butts down to the county and show them the proper ID so we can get that taken care of...but, m'eh....I'll do that next month!

...and yes, my actual written journal page will be something along those lines, haha.
Hope you like my in progress "odd bod" journal page.

XOXO
