I've done enough pendants now that I felt comfortable enough to move into more expensive wire. I've transferred over to working with Sterling Silver wire, although for this one I kept the copper for the tree. The silver wire is also a smaller gauge, so it was easier to manipulate, and I was able to twist it rather than hammer the wire for a nice effect. I really like the contrast as well as bead colors for this one. I decided on 2 little birdies, one a copper/brown color and the other a silver color. This one really sparkles in the light and will be listed after I create a couple more for the shop. :-)
