She Art Girl in progress

I lost track of time and now have to go to sleep, but had fun finally putting in to practice what I've been watching for days with Christy Tomlinson's She Art Girls videos.

It's taken me awhile to actually reach for a canvas, but decided to give it a try. I actually re-used a canvas and should've taken before shots. For some reason I love creating backgrounds but never take them anywhere. So I grabbed a "used" canvas that was all paints and stencils, reworked it a bit, lightened up the sky and used paper and paints for grass and then finally started a girl.

I'd say this is about half done, but I do like where it's going. I had fun constructing her dress. :-)

Here are the in progress shots. Can't wait to see how she turns out!

Hope you're having a creative day wherever you are!
