Hear Me Roar - Collage

Finally finished my second piece from the self study course offered by Tam on her Willowing Ning site.

Collage, Paint & Soul is the course and it's a paint over collage style that I am truly enjoying.

I signed up for her Digital Dreams course as well, but now I'm torn between starting up a third collage or catching up in the newly started course.

Haha...I will have to see if I can split my time...or clone myself.  ;-)

  1. Leila,
Hi, I just stopped by your blog today to say hello and comment on your journal page. I thought it was lovely, but the comments wouldn't let me post! Since you had an email I thought I would email you to let you know. Hope you are having a good summer & I look forward to visiting again. Theresa

  3. Leila this is so cool!! Love it! Is that watercolor paper you are using for these? Any tips? Everytime I use the paper after it dries the edges curve up?

  4. Thank you so much Gez. So far the quotes I've been using are reminders to myself. ;-) Hope you have a lovely weekend as well.

Hi Cathy, thank you! Yes, I'm using watercolor paper, but for these 2 I'm using the pad type of watercolor paper. Not really sure what the official name is. I got it at Micheals, it came wrapped/sealed. I thought it was loose, but the edges are glued together to prevent the paper from curling/warping. I was baffled how to use it, but I asked on the Willowing network and they told me one of the corners would be a little loose and I am able to work it up so I can get my finger in once finished and I can take the top sheet off. It's very handy and nice to work on. I may have to go get another once once I've finished with it, lol. I hated it at first, now I love it! Hope that helps!
