Hair Today...Gone Tomorrow...

Hair Today...Gone Tomorrow...

Not really sure what inspired this piece. I had an idea of what I wanted to do with this weeks Three Muses topic of "hair", but I really just let my eyes decide rather than my thoughts to get me started. I actually didn't have much thought process until I had the lady with the nature scenery put together...then I started to think about some old pictures I've seen from years ago, before land was developed, and my piece slowly started to come together.

Can you tell what I used to re-create her hair?

I'm certainly pleased with the outcome. Hope you are too. :-)

About your question...I think that you've used parts of a pine-apple-tree for her hair and coloured them ????

  4. @ Moi Freubel - Good guess. I actually used digital moss, layered them & changed the color, repositioned to create bigger hair that would work with the tree. :-)

  7. I had guess the same as Rian. This has to be seen in close-up to really appreciate it's beauty. Very clever "take" on the challenge, and very well done!

  8. Fabulous! I thought you'd used either a Christmas tree or cobwebs to do her hair before I saw the answer but whatever it was it's beautiful!

    Beautifully done.
The hair looks a bit like something I swept out from under a bed this morning. A dust bunny?
