Academy of Sciences, CA

A couple weeks ago hubby and I took Xavier to Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, CA.

I swung by and picked up my mom so she could join in and then met up with my best friend and her two kids.  It was a fun outing and one I hope we can do in the near future. 

I think Xavier's favorite exhibit was the little tide pool where he could touch star fish and the bug stomping exhibit.  It's all video and you stomp on bugs.  For the older kids, there is a game where you try to trap the bugs...

Not sure where all the alligators and crocodiles went when they upgraded, this was the only one they had.

They had live reindeer to see during the holidays.

Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch...

Before our week long vacation ended, we took little man to the pumpkin patch, 

SO MUCH FUN.

We checked out Adobe Pumpkin Farm out in Petaluma, CA.

For a pumpkin patch, there's was pretty amazing...

Last year we went to one in Dixon, CA which was basically pumpkins and a corn maze.

Well not Adobe's Pumpkin Farm...

Just look at the pics....little man had so much fun there, we will certainly go again for years to come!

He loved the train ride, had fun climbing hay, petting animals, watching the hay rides, and picking out a pumpkin.  Lots and lots of fun...and he was knocked out for the ride home, which made mommy and daddy very happy, hehe.
